Our Summer Institute offers three basic student packages for Suzuki students of all ages and advanced students of all backgrounds.

Twinkler Package
$295
Who:
violin, viola, and cello students ages 3-5 who are Pretwinkle or working on Twinkle variations.
Repertoire Level:
New beginners through Twinkle variations
Classes:
Masterclass, Technique Class, & Musicianship Class

What to Expect:
This half-day morning program is a way for you to enjoy the Summer Institute with your little person. Twinkler students are welcome to enjoy all of the special concerts and events scheduled throughout the day, but will be able to have a much needed nap after lunch without worrying about missing any classes.
General Schedule:
Monday: Registration and Opening Play-In* 10:00-12:00pm
* Twinkle students may, but are not required to, attend the opening Play-In.
Tuesday-Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm
Saturday: Final Concert 8:30am-11:00am



Suzuki Package
$420
Who:
Violin, viola, and cello Suzuki students of all ages
Repertoire Level:
Suzuki Books 1-5
Classes:
Masterclass, Technique Class, Repertoire Class, Musicianship Class

What to Expect:
Basic Tuition includes four hours of instruction each day, scheduled between 8-5pm Monday-Friday. With six available class periods each day, students have the option to add an additional fifth hour of instruction, leaving the remaining hour empty for practice or rest. The basic schedule includes a morning and afternoon break, as well as a concert period after lunch. Students enrolled in chamber music will have an extended schedule on Monday and Friday evenings.
Students aged 12 and older may choose to live on campus as teen dorm participants. Supervised by Suzuki Music Columbus resident staff, the teens enjoy the experience of living in a college residence hall and making new friendships while being immersed in musical surroundings.

**Students enrolled in Chamber Music will have the following extended schedule in addition to the above schedule:

Advanced Package
Who:
Violin, viola, and cello Suzuki and Traditional students
Repertoire Level:
Suzuki Book 6 + (or equivalent)
Classes:
Masterclass, choice of Alternative Styles Class, & Advanced Orchestra (2 hours).
Enrichment:
One Alternative Styles Class (Klezmer, Jazz, or Fiddle) is included in the Advanced tuition; students may elect to add chamber music or a second Enrichment Class for a nominal fee.
