Can I still get a meal plan if I don't register for one right now?

Yes! If you decide that you'd like to purchase a meal plan please contact Doug Locke at dlocke@suzukimusiccolumbus.org with your request.

Can I register for housing later if I don't choose to do it now?

What are the reading levels?

Advanced reader:

Musicianship Level 3 - Students aged 8 and up with the ability of Suzuki book 4 and up as well as some of a lot of ensemble or orchestral experience. Must have reliable reading skills in most meters and keys. Minimally the student is working in "Doflein Volume 1" or comparable level in another book.

Basic reader

Musicianship Level 2 - Students aged 8-12 with reading experience but little or no previous ensemble or orchestral experience. Students at the ability of Suzuki books 2-4 who are able to read comfortably in basic meters and simple keys. Students need to be working in "I Can Read Music" or a comparable level in another book.

No Reading

Musicianship Level 1 - Students aged 3-9 with very little or no music reading experience, with some or no exposure to basic notational concepts and rhythmic patterns.
